Is the Nokia N95 Really an iPhone Replica or Not?

There are several iPhone replica that have popped up in the market today including those made by individuals and many that have been made by companies with strong engineering skills, especially in countries such as China where too the odd iPhone replica has begun to hit the market if only to meet the high volume demand for owning an iPhone given that the original is not as yet available in China.

Ten Percent Can Own the Real Thing

The fact is that there are many people who cannot stop raving about iPhones, especially those with enough money to spare in buying one. The need to own an iPhone is indeed strong though the fact is that in reality only ten percent of the world has the luxury of owning one. So, if you are not part of that fortunate ten percent of the world, you like the rest of the ninety percent would have to make do with whatever comes your way including even owing an iPhone replica.

A case in point as far as learning more about an iPhone replica is the notorious Clay iPhone that made headlines in quite a few places including in the iPhone World, and Boing Boing as well as MyiTablet. This was one piece of news that had everybody sitting up and taking notice and in fact even led to feelings of worship for this iPhone replica that bordered on being cult-like.

Another product that may or may not be considered as an iPhone replica is the Nokia N95 which is certainly worth more than being referred to as being a replica because it is certainly far too superior to put in that category. In looks, it can match the iPhone and in size it is smaller and a notable advantage to this so-called iPhone replica is that it has GPS which is something that is missing in the iPhone.

Plus, the Nokia N95 which should not really be called an iPhone replica also has excellent resolution which is about two and a half times greater than that found in iPhones. It may only be the fact that the iPhone has a wonderful touch screen that is lacking in the N95 that has made people consider the latter to be referred to as an iPhone replica.

Otherwise, the Nokia N95 is as good as any iPhone and certainly is better than what one would normally expect off an iPhone replica. It would be far better to look at the Chinese version of the iPhone and call those products iPhone replicas rather than club the Nokia N95 in this category.
