The iPad 2 has now been on the market for several months now and reports are that the technology giant has done it again. They have made the second version even better than the first. It is lighter, faster and there are several added extras. But what about those of us who simply can't afford the latest gadget? Don't worry, the latest data released by Gumtree.com, an online market place, reveals that the original iPad is flooding their website. With the iPad 2 going on sale earlier this year, the listings for the original device have gone stratospheric.

Gumtree have reported that there were over 3500 listings for iPads at the time of the launch of the new iPad 2 in March. Now the average listing price for the original iPad is £406.65 and that the price of the iPad has decreased on average by £150 since its launch last year, making the device more affordable. The great thing about the iPad 2 launch is the fact that we can now pick up iPads which are just over a year old.

The company also revealed that the cheapest places to buy iPads were Belfast, Liverpool and Leeds.
